This is the first Strada in the fleet. After a life in Ohio, it was discovered that the structural members beyond the front doors was missing, all rotted away. More bondo than car. The roof was mailed to Germany for another car. Full interior and all rubber and plastics donated to the project.

The body of the build, this car lived in California it's whole life. While the sheetmetal was like new, the interior was scrap. Having arrived from the previous owner in boxes, all the hardware was missing and sunroof destroyed.

A 650,000 mile body, the cosmetic rust was not what killed this car. The whole front subframe was split off the firewall. The driveline is now in a 128 and the rest of the car served as a template, hardware and spare parts source. Likely the most important car of the build. Much sheetmetal off to another Strada and the sunroof stored.
