Tamiya cars are the foundation of Ampro Engineering. We have resolved countless issues with vintage cars and breathed new life into some of the greatest RC's ever made.
Originally based on a Tamiya Hornet/Grasshopper, the SuperFly family gives you the option to lightly mod your car and still retain its original look or turn it into something utterly unrecognizable. We also have created a ground up brand new car that pays homage to the Hornet while being totally re-engineered.
We have developed special chassis, body components, and mechanical modifications for quite a number of custom builds. Each one of these is covered on the AMPro youtube channel
There is now a chassis and interior that is fitting for the diecast suspension and molded body the Scorcher already has. This chassis and roll cage is fully structural and hides the battery and electronics. The dash is also fully detailed and printed with a polyjet printer for the highest details imaginable including illumination. The multipart build is on our YouTube channel.
Our trailfinder II's with their scale Mojave, Blazer and Hilux bodies make it easy to up the details. From the best scale-difused lighting and mechanical improvements like body mounts and frame extensions, we love to make these scale gems stand out even more.
The Axial SCX10 II Ford F100 was just begging to have some scale features added. From a supercharger with an embedded motor to spin the pulley, a full, lit interior, and more outside lighting, we can help make your F100 the best it can be.
We have made a number of parts for some very popular & highly detailed trail trucks and offroad racing trucks. From the highest detailed interior for this old '79 Ford Bronco to a sea of baja interior lighting.
Highly detailed, capable, infinitely customizable, and inexpensive, these little RC cars have become a staple in the AMRro fleet. From emblems to trim and lighting, we cannot get enough of making these little RC cars even better. Oh and don't forget wheels....
We love details. We love scale. We love models. As a result of this, we love FMS. Nearly indistinguishable from a static model, these highly detailed RC cars are just begging for some AMPro details like trim, camper shells, and of course, wheels.
We have a broad scope of interest in RC cars.
We use what we design. Nothing we make is designed to sit on a shelf.
When you are into the details, we are there.
